TONIGHT: SERIES CONTINUES IN A FRENZY OF SWORD RATTLING DICK LIT! well. maybe. ;dunno; Added 11/29/2013 - "Empire" by Orson Scott Cardi see this is on my list too, but i think imma baleet it and recommend you do the same. a 2 booko series which appears to be almost universally loathed! granted, a lot of that loathing comes from it being too "right wing" or "neo con fantasy" or something. i don't know. whatever that garbage means. and so i would dismiss most of those critiques out of hand, but even the people who LIKE the book don't seem SUPER thrilled. and i read the plot outline and i'm just kinda.... meh. the right and left in the US get into a war blah blah blah... i think the way everyone today screams and yells about this crap i just don't want it in a novel i'm reading. even if i do normally like Card's stuff. Added 2/21/2014 - "Dark Days" by Manel Loureiroi dunno if these are days, but they're pretty dark!!@# ;hyuper;; ok, let's see here... dark days... booko # 2 of the Apocalypse Z series. ok, so i guess you gave book 1 five stars. this is a 3 book zombie series from some spanish dude translated into 'murica speak. i'm not adding them to my list but feel free to keep them in your spacious cupboard if you so desire!!@#

PREVIOUSLY ON THIS FINE DICK SERIES oh man, this IS a dick series! must be why i likes it so much!@# that does not sound like great things to have given to you, quite frankly! what IS a dick lit shit lady anyway? I'm not even sure!! TONIGHT: SERIES CONTINUES IN A FRENZY OF SWORD RATTLING DICK LIT! well. maybe. ;dunno; i feel like maybe it did!! i completely agree with you in pretty much every way! i don't wanna read that crap1@! :highfive: I did like the other book that this author did. i believe this is the one where the main protagonist survived the zombie apocalypse by wearing a wet-suit around! so the zombies couldn't bite through it easy or scratch him easy with their dumb ol rotted fingers and teeth! i liked that. but otherwise, just more zombies. I don't need more. buleet!

AS PREVIOUSLY SEEN ON THIS FINE SELF SERIES FACE:boy, if only more people knew the key to surviving the zombpocalypse was a friggin WET SUIT!!@# i can see how that would just spice the genre right up!!@# whoo!!@# AND NOW TONIGHT'S EXCITING EPISODE:We skip all the way fwd to Added 8/14/2014 - "Invisible" by James Pattersonok, clicked ovur dare to see if this is the famous James Patterson of Along Came a Spider and whatever. the Alex Cross series. and it is! and i'm out. this is a different series, but i have read one or two of his books before and they just aren't for me. was curious how many Alex Cross books he's written. THE ANSWER IS IT IS A TIP THAT 28! :0 good grief. i think val has read them all! anyway, maybe this book is perfectly fine but i am not interested in it. *shrug* Added 8/31/2014 - "All You Zombies" by Robert HeinleinI was gonna get mad at fist, but Heinlein is good... then i click on it and it's not even a zombie book!@# it's a bime bravel short story!@# and it is on my "to read" list also!@# so i think we can let this one marinate in the cupboard a while longer.

AS PREVIOUSLY SEEN ON THIS FINE SELF SERIES FACE: you could have a whole series of various armors that people use and ... 6 months, not that long to not add bookos. oh, teh valerie loved author. already suspicious. i thought I'd read at least 1 Patterson, but I don't see it if I did. and I'm not hunting through his hundreds of titles. anyway, i don't need to read this at all! don't know why it is on list. according to Goodreads, valerie hasn't even read this one! anyway, no idea why i added it, and now i won't remember it ever even existing cuz BULELETET@#!#@!@ i'm sure it's no Patterson masterpiece, but I'll keep it.

PREVIOUS SERIES WORDS OF BOOKS AND UNBOOKS AND THINGS THAT MAY AT SOME PAST TIME HAVE BEEN MENTIONED ON THIS FINE SERIES: you could have a whole series of various armors that people use and ... if a wet suit is armor, then you could have a book where a guy wears more than one layer of clothing and some gloves! *pointstohaid* let's see... and, maybe one where people wear those padded sumo wresting outfits that make you all huge and bouncy!@# AND I'M JUST GETTING STARTED!@#$@#$ if a book was on teh list but baleeted before reading... was it ever on teh list at all? THE ANSWER IS WE WOULD HAVE NO IDEA!@# even if goodreads some time down the line said HEY! LOOK AT ALL THESE BOOKS THAT YOU FORMERLY BALEETED... we'd be ;suspiciou;;; those don't look familiar.... wtf are you trying to pull on us goodreads!!?? *pea* AND NOW TONIGHTS FINE EPISODE! FINE? WHAT AM I SAYING!@# THE GRETAIST EPISODE OF WHATEVER THIS IS THAT'S EVAR BEEN PUT INTO TEH WORLD!#@@$@$ Added HAY WATE A MINUTE!@# U ADDED A BOOKO OUTSIDE OF OUR SERIES!@# IS THAT LEGAL??? *goes to fine print* hmmm there appears to be no fine print! or any contract whatsoever for this whole deal!@# seems like an oversight on my part. hmm. OK WELL I GUESS IT'S ALLOWED!@# ENJOY YOUR FUCKIGN CHOKE BOKE OR WADEVER!@#$@#$#@ Added 8/31/14 - "Me Talk Pretty One Day" by David SedarisA tremendously racist title by renowned lounge singer david sedaris... hmm that can't be right. *checks notes* best selling collection of essays... moves to france and is bad and speaking teh french ovur dare... ehh... ok who is this guy? *clicks on his name* some NPR person with a super punchable face? no idea why i would give two shits about anything he has to say or write!@# but again, this your spacious cupboard, not mine! :\ (was reallly hoping that book was going to be a first person account of some asian whore, but wel eye gez nut. ) Added 9/7/14 "Lock In" by MISTAH SKAALLZZIIIII i'd assume you will keep this one. for some reason i thought you'd read it. maybe we only talked about it. this is the one i abandoned on audiobook cuz i hated wil wheaton's reading so much. and the story wasn't roping me in enough to make me keep pludging through. PREVIOUS SERIES WORDS OF BOOKS AND UNBOOKS AND THINGS THAT MAY AT SOME PAST TIME HAVE BEEN MENTIONED ON THIS FINE SERIES: i like the title. why are we not writing amazing bookos!@#!@#!@ :pullhair: absolutley!@# i am totally not going to believe goodreads at this future time you are describing! no sir! why the hell should i? they probably get more money for huge lists, why they sucked me in the first place!@# my excitement is ridiculously high. boy you are on my list like white on rice!@# like sticky stuff on gross other stuff that is sticky!@#! anyway, yeah, teh answer is recommendedaaahhh!@#! it's the guy who wrote fight club! :hyper: :dunno: i gues it might be kinda violent... how could you have not heard of david sedaris!!?? have you never in your life listened to This American Life podcast? or NPR? well eye gez nut! now, i thought I've already read this book... so, for that reason, i'm not sure it should be on here. i've definitely read or heard at least some of the stories in this book, which means I don't want to read it. I just don't have that kind of time. i don't know if you would like it or not. i find his writing humorous. he's a horrible little man, so that makes him funny. i've enjoyed the books of his i've read. but, like i said, i'm deleting this one cuz i think i've read or at least know it already. BULEET!! i was totally prepared to delete this bad boy, but then i read the synopsis and a few reviews and i just can't do it. once i add in giving scalzi the benefit of the doubt, and that it's a different style story. I'm in. I guess there is a prequel novela you can read that makes you less confused when starting this series, which may help... and apparently is free! :hyper: i like free!!

PREVIOUSLY ON THIS FINE AMERICAN LIFE OF SERIES AND PODCAST AND WHAT HAVE YOU!@# why are we not writing amazing bookos!@#!@#!@ :pullhair: would it help at all if i put this on a future to-do list? ;dunno; you could consider it done! I KNOW WAD IT IS U STUPID GOOD FOR NOTHING COCKBITE!@!!@#$ ;twak;; NEVER! ;hyper; oh man i am super stoked to have found something super mainstream that YOU'VE HEARD OF AND I HAVEN'T!! i mean... i've HEARD for NPR and i guess This American Life cuz it is on podcast lists and things... i just didn't ever see any point in listening to any of them! seems like the modern version of old harvey ehh... oh fuck, who was that guy "THAT IS THE REST OF THE STORY!" harvey something... hmm.. god dammit i'm gonna have to look this up now. ;weary; GAH! PAUL HARVEY!@# anyway! my non listening impression of that podcast is probably way off but it just sounds like listening to paul harvey or an audio version of readers digest or something!@# BUT I HAVE NO IDEA AND I LOVE IT!@# :hyper;;;;;;;; i've also heard the name david sedaris i think but if you had put a gun to my head before now and asked me to describe his career or something.... not sure i'd have come up with writer OR podcaster! i thnk i'm thinking of a singer.. is there an amy sedaris? or is that a funny actress?? RESEARRRCHHH!!!@@###@ apparently funny actress!! so are they related? i'll leave that research to some future research team! my guess on who david sedaris is, would be unsuccessful unknown brother or husband to famous comedic actress amy sedaris! lol. so i searched your "READ" books and you've read THREE OF HIS PREVIOUS BOOKOS! wow. i'm flabbergasted. not sure i'm buying your prepared to baleet claim. ;stuburn;

SERIES HAS BUILT UP A PRETTY GOOD HEAD OF STEAM! WHAT COULD POSSIBLY HAPPEN NEXT? TUNE IN TONIGHT!!@#$@#
Added 9/7/2014 - "A Wrinkle in Time" by L'Engle Madeleinei believe i had this on my list once upon a TIME! AHH?? mmm. probably because it is famous and has TIME in the title! if bime bravel then yes, isn't that the way of things arounf here? well, yeah. usually. then this movie came out. it was called, get this, "A WRINKLE IN TIME". and it looked prettty... pretty... prettyyy... horrible. now, i could be wrong and it ISN'T horrible! but the trailer for the movie did not make me want to read this booko!@# no sir! ;nono; and so i'm not going to. ;stuburn; MADE IT TO PAGE 3!!!@@# WHOO!!@#
Added 9/7/2014 - "Ringworld #1" by Larry Niven Another one that was rotting on my list for many moons. finally cut bait on it at some point. its another classic series of many books, and i just don't have it in me. see, the worlds are RINGS!@# ahh!? i have read a few other larry niven books and he's fine, but not an author i make a point of chasing down to read. ;dunno; Added 9/7/2014 - "The Andromeda Strain" by Michael CrichtonThere is a 50/50 chance that i have actually read this a long time ago and simply don't recall... ;pipe; if you had asked me to tell you without looking at my list if i'd read it i think i'd have said yes... but i don't have it marked that way... so WEL EYE GEZ NUT! i may add it. i've pretty well liked whatever stuff of Crichton's i've read in teh past ovur dare. and he's daid so it's not like adding his stuff to my list makes it keep growing forever. so imma add this one. maybe you'll baleet and i'll add! oh, i think this is about an alien virus that towns us all or something. not sure. :B Added, you guessed it, 9/7/2014 - "Sphere" by Michael CrichtonDo i want to add TWO bookos back onto my list? i clicked on ole crichton boy there and these are basically the only two books of his i haven't read... so i don't even no wad sphere is about... some sort of circle or something is my guess.... but i'll add it. sigh. damn completist me!@#$

AND NOW... TONIGHT'S BRILLIANT AND EXCITING EPISODE OF BALEESHUN:
Added 9/8/2014 - "What If? Serious Scientific Answers to Absurd Hypothetical Questions" by Randall Munroeman i was ready to instantly go ballistic on you having this title in your list like WTF KIND OF BOOKO CHOICE IS THIS GARBAGE. and then i saw it is written by the guy who makes XKCD comics, which i follow on twitter... so then i'm marginally interested... and all the reviews are pretty good and some of the questions i saw made me semi interested AND I DO NOT WANT TO PUT THIS BOOK ON MY LIST GOD DAMMIT!@# if you tell me i have to though, i will. my cupboard is in your hands. Added 9/26/2014 - "Anna Karenina" by Leo Tolstoyi get why this is on peoples list. and i'll be honest, i've been tempted in the past. hell, the first sentence of the goodreads blurb says "regarded by many as the worlds greatest novel"! SO APPARENTLY EVERYONE SHOULD HAVE IT ON THEIR LIST!@# but then that same sentence finishes with "provides a vast panorama of contemporary life in Russia and of humanity in general". and i read that and think self, is that what i want to read? and my self says SELF GOOD FINE SELF FACE I DO NOT THINK IT IS!@# but self, it is teh worlds most greta novel! SELF I BET YOU A MILLION DOLLARS IT IS LONG AND BORING!@# but self... like, am i obligated to read it? if i do, then do i also have to read War and Peace? god this is all making me very tired....

And Now We Begin Another Exciting Fresh and New Episode!
Added 11/3/2014 - "The Peripheral" by William Gibson
trying to remember if i've read anything by gibson that i actually enjoyed. coming up empty. also a bit nonplussed by the little "#1" i see by the title!!@# all right lets check this badboy out.... ok, apparently this is a new william gibson novel! think i already knew that... ehh... a guy has a job and eh... i dunno. i read the blurb and couldn't really tell you. there's a second book in this, don't know if that completes the series or anything. what i DO know, is im not interested. nothing in the blurb or a handful of reviews convinced me to jump in unless ur already a gibby fan.
out of curiosity i clicked on old gibby there and all i've read of his was Neuromancer, which i hated and gave 1 star. i looked to see what you've read of his and you marked neuromancer as abandoned! ;hyper; so yeah, jump all over this badboy!
Added 11/03/2014 - "Food: A Love Story" by Jim Gaffigan"
i think i either own this, or used to. may have sold it at the wife's place of business. or maybe on amazon. never read it. just didn't get around to it and i think i read one of his other books and it was... fine. shrug. i'm sure its sufficiently amusing.

one reviewer says of Neuromancer, i finally got it after the 3rd time reading it! so, we'll only have to read this crap 3 times just to follow it! sounds great!@ i am out out out!! i feel like these are those books where you are supposed to like them but they're just not my cup of tea. looks good on you though. buleet!@ yeah, for most of these comedians, i'm kinda like, eh, i'd kinda rather just WATCH gaffigan than read him... and then i can read really good authors who are good at writing and stuff. :\ so, bye bye :wave:
