watched episode 7 mandalorians get towned by moffy:
so this was the one where it starts with grogu getting to walk around in the nurse droid! NO. NO NO. NO. NO.
those weird cute little troll things fixed up the droid. it goes walking along the table with grogu and goes. NO SQUEAZY!! to grogu in it's cute little tiny creature voice.
*grogu and mando go walking through town* YES. YES. YES. YES. YES. YES. YES. YES. YES. YES.
interesting that grogu can talk with buttons, but only say yes and no. repeatedly.
*steals food and holds it up in the air so mando can't reach it* mando: eh, this isn't working for me...
anyway, then mando get's captured and a bunch of mandalorians get shot up but maybe only the big guy dies. hard to tell. apparently moffy has set up shop ON mandalor. and moffy has super sweet beskar armor that looks like darth vader!
anyhoo. i think there is just one more episode.

also, i like how they just gloss over how they are super over simplifying the robot controls. like that is a lot of different actions to control on that robot but it looks like grogu just has a couple joysticks. :B and it's true, no one cares. it's fine. just show grogu bumping into a few things at first to show that it was hard to learn a little. :B well, i think cuz they has all kinds of droids and robots and stuff they can build like nobody's business! apparently. :B also, the number of clone troops he got going was impressive too. at first the way he was talking at first i thought he was going to reveal that all the cloned troops were clones of him! but no.
watched episode 8 - the finale: GROGU SAVES TEH DAY! and yeah, grogu saves the day with his super amazing baby force powers after moffy whines about how mando rooned his force clone hasing dreams! and i guess he kept his dreams secret so they will die with him. which makes sense since we never got any force hasing clones. :B
some real ass kicking by mando there in the end but still needed grogu's force powers to win. "u did good, kid." almost sounds like han solo.
also, the clones WERE of him. or at least these new ones were. i don't think the ones that loog like mando clones were.
minor gripes: moffy is looging at a map in his headquarters area and it shows grogu and mando walking arounf in there with a nice convenient green and red dot. i assume grogu is the green one. :B anyway and he says to one of his clones in there. i'll deal with them! and turns from the map. but then he totally doesn't go to where he just saw them. instead he waits for mando and grogu to waltz through his entire compound killing all his force clones along the way and then bitches and moans about it before being killed by the mando/bokaratan/grogu combo!
makes no sense!
other than that. as you mentioned this whole moffy base in there and whatnot. why did the mandalorians all waltz in there and get trapped in episode 7? like, as ur running after the weird troopers attacking you and all the sudden you run into new completed structures, you don't pause for like a second and go like, wtf?! he fellas, eh, shouldn't this stuff, eh, like not be here and stuff? this seems... not good. :B i guess mandalorians are a bit cocky. :dunno:

THE RED DOT IS GROGU CUZ HE IS MORE DANGEROUS AND VALUABLE!@# i guess he's better at building bases and clones and things than coming up with winning fight strategies! that's true. and it does seem like they put everything into controlling teh various aspects of the robot and not so much into many much speech options! so, that makes sense. seems weird he can't really talk... he certainly seems to understand everything that's going on. and he IS fifty years old ffs. i mean, they did still have a nice rolling pirateship thing tho, so sure a fully functioning underground electrical grid makes sense. the mandalorians are all stocked up on jet pack fighter people. they could use some diversity!@# *chases them down* *mass confusion ensues as the dots were misrepresenting who was who* ;ballhands; I'D HAVE GOTTEN AWAY WITH IT TOO IF IT WASN'T FOR THAT MEDDLING GROGU! *pea* |
