Added 2/28/12 "Hell House" by Richard Matheson
Horror novel by the guy who wrote I am Legend? I'm not going to argue it, other than it's sat on the list for 8 years...

that's the worst bike i've ever seen! but! i guess we'll keep on riding it anyway. :\ well, we're already on it now! i guess, we're riding some horrible tandum bike. :/ You really said it a lot!! that's not actually half bad idea... not the most efficient thing I've heard of, but that doesn't really seem to be a concern for you. i didn't realize it needed maintenance!@#!@# it's just an old thing i have, like an old trusty shirt that is gross at the bottom. Added 11/14/11 - "In the Garden of Iden" by Kage BakerThe first buk of what is sure to be a riveting 13 booko series. :x Star ratings of each of the 13 bookos: 1) 3.77 2) 3.82 3) 3.87 4) 4.00 4.5) 4.02 now i'm thinking this must be more than 13 bookos if there are .5's in here. ;pipe; 4.75) 4.31 WHAT IS GOING ON!@# :pullhair; 5) 3.94 6) 3.86 7) 3.88 7.5) 4.02 7.6) 3.85 ok now this is just silly. why is this 7.6 and not 7.75!@#$#@ OH! cuz she had a .75 before! I see now. man, I have no idea where this gem came from. Tho I would argue that overall those are pretty good ratings, I'm in agreement, I'm out. Maybe I was drawn in by "This is the first novel in what has become one of the most popular series in contemporary SF." :dunno: Added 11/14/11 - "Rendezvous with Rama" by Arthur C. Clarke The first book of a 4 book series by legendry sci fi author Arthur C Clarke. I've read the whole thing, though it has been a REALLY long time. Like i'm not sure i was married kind of long. So, I don't remember a shit ton about it! Shocking i know. But I do remember really enjoying it! I'd even be down for a reread since i know it would ALMOST be like the first time!@# So, let me know. Tho, if your vote is to keep it on da list ovur dare, I see you have books 2 and 3 marked, but you should also mark book 4 "Rama Revealed" as to read also. TIA!@# HTH!@#$ Oh jeez!@!@ book added!@# we're going backwards!! Added 11/14/11 - "Ashfall" by Mike MullinAnother one that I'm pretty sure was on my list for a long time. Probably how it got on YOUR list cuz you saw me add it. Looking at the description and stuff now it seems fine, people really like it. But does EVERYTHING HAVE TO BE A SERIES NOW@!@#@#$ CAN I JUST READ A BOOK AND NOT BE COMMITTED TO READING 18 THOUSAND MORE!@#$@#$@#$ ;screamears!@#$@#$@#$@ so, anyway, i dunno. this seems fine. it is a tip that yellowstone blows up or something and the planet is towned? not sure. if you want to read it i'll add it. ;weary; I am actually a little torn on this one. Like, it's probably good. but, in light of just having to add a book from the last series, I'm in a baleet it kind of mood. BULEETED!@!#!@ -- The Beach: OK, keeping it. Added 2/28/12 "Hell House" by Richard Matheson Horror novel by the guy who wrote I am Legend? I'm not going to argue it, other than it's sat on the list for 8 years... I don't even LIKE horror. :headscrootch: delete!! Well, down to 253. Well done team! As far as I'm concerned this is a highly productive use of time. It's probably good for you too cuz you get to remind yourself about books and help your crappy brain out and stuff.

OH NO THIS SHIRT IS FINE!@# THE BOTTOM IS PRETTY GROSS AND MOLDEY AND WHAT HAVE YOU BUT TOTALLY FINE GOOD TRUSTY SHIRT!@# *pats trusty shirt trustily* DEFINITELY ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR SERIES EVAR THAT NEITHER OF US HAS EVAR HEARED OF!@#$@#$ ;HYPER; *read read readitty read read* GOD DAMMIT THAT IS NOT HOW THIS IS SUPPOSED TO WORK!@# ;SCREAMEARS; also :eyeflash: if ashfall was a standalone novel i'd be ok with keeping it, but seriously, everything is a series these days... too many series, not enough time!@# my crates are really benefitting from this exercise. :\

Added 2/28/2012 and 3/2/2012 - Jumper #1 and Jumper #2 by Steven GouldOk, so you might want to sit down for this. ANOTHER SERIES!@#$@#$ I've read Jumper 1 and 2 and enjoyed both. 3 and 4 are on my to-read list. Now i see he's added in a .5 and a 2.5 ;screamers;;;;; so, i mean. i'm willing, but now we are going the other direction again. these aren't like astoundingly amazing books that have to be read. they're entertaining. they made a horrible movie out of Jumper. i DO remember something, though. I recall actually thinking that the people in these books (they can teleport) actually USE their powers in a logical way and think through possibilities of how to do stuff smartly. which i enjoyed. ANYWAY LET ME KNOW IF YOU WANT TO ADD A 6 BOOK SERIES@@#$ or you can baleet jumper 1 and 2 and move we can all move on.

FIVE BOOKOS!@# sweet sweet. just wad eye wuz hoping for. Appears to be a run of the mill Zombie series. Began in 2006 in the height of zombiemania probably. Let's knock out 3/23/2012 and I'll call it a day on this sweet task. "More Than Human" By Theodore Sturgeon
Wow. Ok so this appears to be originally published in 1953! When I was skimming the synopsis I was thinking this was copycat (or, if not copycat, another in a long line of..) material of all the "people have assorted unpredictable powers" type of story (ie. X-men, Heroes, the list goes on....)
But what this actually appears to be, is possibly the original source material that all of those other things srang from or were inspired by!
I'm putting it on my list! :hyper;

Added 6/11/2012 Going to list a Trilogy here in one powst.
Out of the Silent Planet - CS Lewis Perelandra - CS Lewis That Hideous Strength - CS Lewis
So, I've read the first two books of this series, and never got around to the third yet. This is the author of Chronicles of Narnia, which I also haven't read. It's a weird series. One of those where Mars and Venus are habitable and ehh... i dunno even how to describe them. Anyway, I thought I remembered being not too interested in the third book, but i gave both first and second books four stars each... and when i read the description of the third.... it seems ok. so i dunno. they certainly weren't the best books i've read. their weird and vaguely biblicalish, which is definitely a word.... :\
;dunno; this one's a tossup.
