oohhh... a little anticipatory glee! welcum bak old frienf!@# ;shoulderhands; jeez wad was going on with you on 6/16/2012 - ADDED A DOZEN RANDOM WEIRD BOOKOS!@# man my anticipatory glee did not last long. i think i'm going to do one long post here with all of them for that day, just work on it off and on throughout the day. midst of my other whirlwinding. In Cold Blood by Truman Capote hmm. i've heard the name truman capote before. but i couldn't tell you ONE thing about him. ;hyper;; ok, clickentine on truman capote... AH! so maybe he was a writer of some kind! :B wrote "Breakfast at Tiffany's" and various assorted movies made from his bookos. all right. and In Cold Blood is apparently one of his better known works!@# about a brutal murder of a family. sounds delightful! count me in! i guess. heck i read a hemingway novel may as well check a truman capote off!@@# so, my list gets a little closer to yours with this one! sigh. (my only hesitation is seeing that anonymous sister also read it! and gave it 4 stars.... not sure wad to make of that. if she gave it 5, i'd be less inclined to read it!@# NO OFFENSE TO OUR FINE ANONYMOUS SISTER!@# ;HYPER;21 Heat: An Amatuer's Adventure Something About Making Pasta or Whatever I can't Remember by Bill Buford ok.. let's see... 3.9 stars... ahh... oh ok. not sure who approved the title of this, but it does it no favors. the author writes about learning to cook as an apprentice in one of mario batali's restaurants n stef. i can see why you might have added it back in the day. it doesn't tickle my fancy enough to add it to my list tho. feel free to keep if it is still interesting to you, but i just don't care enough. maybe if it was someone less horrible than mario batali? lol. hopefully there is at least one whole chapter on his love of crocs!@# Tokyo Vice: An American Reporter on the Police Beat in Japan by Jake Adelsteina journalist writes about japan police or something. ehhh... nah. maybe if i had an asian fetish? (gaffigan: he LOOKS like one of those guys...) browsing a few of the reviews i just don't think this is my thing. looks good on you though!!@# The Hundred Foot Journey - by Richard C Morais I thought this sounded familiar, and thought maybe it was cuz i added it to my bookos, but it is a tip that THIS IS A MOVIE NOW AND I'VE TOTALLY SEEN IT!@# enjoyable movie actually. if you haven't seen it i'd recommend. not sure i liked the movie or story enough to also go back and read this! esp at 3.5 stars. but you do you bro!! The Sporting Club - by Thomas MacGuanea book by coach mcgurk? ok, let's see what this actually is.... "Two old friends strike up an old feud filled with dangerous games on the vast preserve of their hunting club in this rollicking story of boyhood rivalries pushed to the limit." Huh. I'm at a bit of a loss here. Avast Yee Our Preserve Is Both Vast Yee And Boyhood!@$ let's go to the reviews maybe! one star. tediously verbose. hmm.. yeah, that's gonna be a no from me dog. Gun, With Occasional Music - by Jonathan LethemLooks pretty weird!@# I'm in!@!@# No idea where you stumbled across it, but i'm definitely down. Dammit brother@!@#$ I'M UP TO 136!!#@$#@$$@# Under teh Volcano ovur dare - by Malcolm Lowryi wonder if it would be spicy if i tried to guess what these buks are about that i haven't heard of just by the title!@# probably not, so let's do it!@# this is about a supervillain who lives under a volcano but sits arounf complaining about teh heat and sulfur smells and things!@# either that or a memoir about someone's angry father who supresses everything until one day he splodes and beats people or murders or something. all right, let's go to the tape!!@# ehh... something about a consul in mexico alcoholic ehhh.... i have no idea what this is about or why i'd want to read it!@# probably considered a classic or something but, i. am. OUT!@# Pale Fire – by Vladimir Nobokov no bookos? Lol ntg Pale Fire is the tale of ehhh, medieval Russia where the skies are pale and the dictators ruled with fire and fist… I dunno. *looks up booko* wow. This is embarrassing. Not even close. It is a novel written in the footnotes of a poem of a murdered poet, I guess. Ehh.. I mean. The reviews are stellar, just not sure I’m ready to add this. Let me know if you keep it and like it good chap!@# GOD DAMMIT I’M DOING THIS IN MS WORD AND IT’S CORRECTING MY SPPEELINGSASDGF#@$@#$#@$$#@ Invitation to a Beheading – by Vladimir Nobookos and Dmitri nobookoThis is a book about a beheading and how everyone is invited. ok, this guessing thing sucks i'll just write aboot the actual books as rited by vlad nobooko! a man is condemned to death for an imaginary crime that defies definition and is visited in his cell by various and assorted horrible people. hmm.... i could be persuaded i guess.... i'm on the fence here. balls in your court!@# (if i had to lean one way or the other i think i lean towards baleetion, but mildly) The Honorary Consul – by Graham Green oh good another consul book!@# Looks like we wrap up this epic day of booko adding with a trio of Graham Green books!@# If only I knew who Graham Green was! Ahh. A british thriller novel!!@# so, sort of james bondish types of books. all right. all right. The Human Factor – by Graham Green Another of the same kind of book. ;dunno; The Heart of the Matter – by Graham Green ur really on a green kick here!@#$ i guess if you want to read one, and you like Green, then keep the rest, or just delete them all, or i dunno. what's funny is when i click on Graham Green i see that I have one of his books as to-read, but IT'S NOT ONE OF THESE THREE!@#$@# ;HYPER; we are the baest!@#$

Added 6/20/2012 "Imperial Earth" by Arthur C. Clarke
Maybe we can move up some other Clarke and baleet this one. If you end up loving his riting sew much u wanna reed everything he evar roted then you could come back to it but this doesn't appear to be peoples favorite of his. And we have a billion other buks of his to reed at this point.
Added 6/20/2012 "The Anything Box" by Zenna Henderson
I do believe this one is my fault. It's on my list also, and can't 100% for sure say I remember how it got there. May have been going through award winners... or a list of best books or... something. I don't know. But! I'm leaving it. Superhigh ratings and sounds interesting.
Added 7/2/2012 "A Fine Balance" by Rohinton Mistry
hmm, thinking this got added to ur list arounf the time we read shantaram maybe? it is an india corruption novel of some sort that appears to be universally adored. not sure whether i'm up for that or not, tho i would have said the same for shantaram and it was a fine book upon my good self and face!@#$ ahh? shantaram spice! so, i'm not gonna tell you to baleet it. and if you ever ACTUALLY getting arounf to reading it, i may join you. at that good fine time upon thine self and face good sir.
Added 7/2/2012 "Agent to the Stars" by John Scalzi
I'm not quite as big a Scalzi fan as you are, so I won't be adding this. Apparently it is his first novel that he wrote as a test to see if he could write. now that he's successful it's been released on its own. sounds fine. just not quite appealing enough for me to add it to my pile.
Added 7/2/2012 "The God Engines" by John Scalzi
plot sounds interesting, to say the least. reminds me of the dan simmons books we read about olympus. not that the story is the same but in that it involves gods and thigns. :B seems like reviews are REALLY mixed. the people who like it REALLY like it. i'm intrigued....
Added 7/6/2012 "You Take it From Here" by Pamela Ribon
:\
:/
from the goodreads blurb: In the spirit of Beaches and Steel Magnolias, You Take It from Here is an honest, hilarious, and heartbreaking novel that ultimately asks: How much should we sacrifice for the ones we love the most?
maybe my brother knows pamela ribon and that is why he wants to read a tale of women cancer friends like beaches!??
no clue on this one.

I'll leave it up to you! don't know that it was enough of an all-timer to make you add 2 more buks to your sweet sweet, fine listentine tho. Added 9/13/2012 "11/22/63" by Stephen KingTHIS BOOK IS FANTASTIC!@#$ IT IS A TIP THAT STEPHEN KING AND TIME TRAVEL!@##@$ not super horrory like some of his can be, but man do i enjoy the man's riting sometimes. and this is definitely one of those times godo chpa!@# in fact, i'd go so far as to reed it alongside you again!@#$ cuz i dun remember much at this point other than enjoyment times and bime bravel and my 5***** review!@#$ ;hyper;;;; Added 9/13/2012 "The Giver" by Lois LowryPretty sure I saw a movie version of this that was ok. Very strange, if i'm recalling... came out during the heyday of these young adult franchises like hunger games and the maze runner and whatnot. Looking at the 4 book "series" i'm not sure how interested i am at this point. Val gave this 5 stars and the three followup books 4 stars each. I'd say watch the movie and call it a day.
